Hi, I am Maeve
Maeve grew up on the edge of a nature preserve in Connecticut where she spent most of her time delighting in the splendor of the forest, alone, with her siblings and with her best friend Ashley.
She moved to New York City in 2001 to join the Urban Studies program at Eugene Lang College where she was drawn to sustainability and green planning. After college she worked for the non-profit organization Trees New York for over a decade, working to plant, preserve and protect New York City’s street trees. After giving birth to her second child, Maeve decided to go back to school to learn how to work with the plants in a different way.
Maeve is a graduate of the three year Professional Herbalist Program at Arborvitae School of Traditional Medicine. Maeve is deeply thankful to all of her teachers who shared their knowledge and brilliance so freely and generously- changing the course of her life forever.
After 23 years in New York City, Maeve moved to the mountains of Mallorca where she now lives with her husband, Mike, her two children, Lee and Thyme, and her cats, Faye and Diego. She is a dedicated gardener, yogi, hiker, reader and a lifelong lover and student of nature.
